Following a great season for both Evan Kochs and David Stuber, we have come to the penultimate meet, STATE.
David qualified for the state meet finishing 24th in the stronger of the two district meets. Cold weather and a preexisting condition, caused Evan to finish 42nd, 50 seconds slower than his normal time. Coach Gazette believes better weather conditions would have helped Evan's time. Had Niangua ran in the other district, both Evan and David would have qualified. Luck (unlucky) of the draw. David improved on his season best time of 18:39, by finishing in 18:32.
David will compete Friday, November 3rd in Columbia at Gans Creek. Lets all wish David good luck. Schedule for our departure will be finalized 10/31.
