We have received enough interest from staff and community members that we will go forward with Summer School this summer!
Please complete the following form for each student you intend to enroll in Summer School. This will help us determine bus routes as well as classroom rosters/grade breakdown. Our intention is to keep students in their specific grades as much as possible and avoid mixing grade levels.
https://forms.gle/Aefxp8Wxc5pLseaTA
Students in grades K-8 will be offered enrichment opportunities. These learning opportunities will be focused on using standards and curriculum from the student's incoming grade level (incoming 2nd grade students will be taught using 2nd grade curriculum, etc.). This is intended to help introduce students to the standards and skills they will be learning during the 25-26 school year. Field trips are possible throughout Summer School, but will be educationally based.
Students in HS will be able to work towards credit recovery, or the possibility of a PE/Sports class is in the works. More information will be sent out following Spring Break for HS options.
Summer School will run from June 3rd through June 27th and operate on a Tuesday-Friday schedule similar to the regular school year. The hours of operation will be 7:50AM -3:40PM. Bus pick up and drop off will be determined once enrollment has completed, and we have determined bus routes. Breakfast will be served from 7:30AM-7:50AM. Lunch schedules will be similar to the regular school year lunch schedule. Our cooks will be here and both breakfast and lunch will be served by the district for students and staff.
If you have questions regarding Summer School, you are encouraged to reach out to Dr. Baker or Dr. Ravens at your convenience.
If you wish to enroll your child(ren) in Summer School, please complete this survey by April 15th. Final Summer School plans will sent out by May 1st.
Thank you!
